About Melissa
Melissa’s love of houses started at a very young age. Her parents embraced the opportunity to build their own homes. She learned to appreciate how interior design was central to making a house a home.
After college, she became a manager at Nordstrom department store, who’s ethos is customer service, Melissa learned the value of client services. She moved to NYC and worked in the garment center, further honing her customer service skills.
Eventually, Melissa bought her 300 square foot apt. in Soho and sold it to her neighbor the following year for twice as much. This started her own journey in the real estate market. The need for another apartment led her to another fixer upper in Gramercy Park which eventually led to an older home in South Orange. Several years later with her husband and two daughters she moved again to settle in Millburn. After stints in staging and design, she could not deny her love of real estate any longer and took the plunge to work as a full time realtor.
Melissa is a great listener with a keen knowledge of the local market. Her patience helps guide the buyer through the home-buying process. She can evaluate the potential of a property and has invaluable relationships with various local contractors. Her commitment to her clients is evident every step of the way.
